What makes your soap different from others?
This is a good one! While there are plenty of excellent soapmakers out there, who produce beautiful soap, I guess I'm one of the few who produce the same quality on this large of scale. Also, I have aquired expertise in my field, not only as an esthetician for 20 years, but I have travelled through the Caribbean for 5 years and learned a lot from the locals and their uses of nut butters and other wonderful ingredients. Everything I put into my soap and Bath and Skin Care products, has a reason and a purpose. I use high end ingredients that will actually produce some benefits. If there's no benefit, there's no use for it. I "superfatt" all my soap, which means I add loads of extra oils, creams, butters, etc. to my soap just before it gets poured out into the molds to cure. This gives the soap added richness and creaminess, so the soap won't feel drying. I must add: I have experimented for years and made many mistakes and learned many things that I wouldn't know now, if I hadn't of messed up. And that comes at a cost, as any of you soapmakers know!

What is the shelf life on your products?
Whew, another good question! I could be wrong, but I'm not sure that soap really goes bad. It may lose its colour, or the potency of the scent that's used, be it an essential oil or a fragrance, but the product itself, is good for years and years...Now, if you use whole fruit chunks or something like that, those pieces can rot, so unless you're using up the soap quickly, I would avoid using that. Many essential oils act as natural preservatives, prolonging products indefinately. If you keep your products out of direct sunlight, high heat, low moisture areas, your soaps and bath and skin products will last months. Do keep in mind that TRULY NATURAL products are not loaded with chemical preservatives, and the idea is to use your natural products when you buy them.
